Challenge: "Gluten" hides in many places; in product ingredients, manufacturing processes and product packaging. Testing is required to determine if a product contains the amino acid sequences toxic to celiacs. Government agencies are able to test only a small fraction of retail products for the presence of "gluten."
Solution: Product Testing Program. CSA expands these government efforts by routinely submitting products, purchased at random across the country, to the lowest commercial gluten sensitivity test levels available.
CSA shares its test results with manufacturers. As an independent third party conducting the most stringent testing available, CSA provides a valuable service in the gluten-free marketplace.
